Remove a Category from the WooCommerce Category Widget
In this post we will show you how you can remove one or more categories from the Woocommerce category sidebar widget. In this example we want to remove the “Remove” category. The ID of this category is “29”, we need to know this to be able to remove it (see PHP code below).
This is how the sidebar with the categories looks like before changing the code:
You can the category/categories by adding the following code to your functions.php file. If you want to remove more than one category, you’ll need to use an array.
